*Save gas ~ ride gravity*
*********************

It helps if you live somewhere where there are hills, or if you ride a bike, but you can save gas and money by coasting ~ riding gravity (and a bit of momentum). Most cars will do it in drive. It’s good to stay in drive, and not coast in neutral – in case you suddenly need more speed control!

There was a report recently about how one way to conserve gas is to drive more slowly, it’s also true that taking advantage of gravity when there is a truly safe opportunity is a good option (when there are no cars behind you).

It’s hard to slow down at first ~ we’re all so used to living at maximum speed, but I’ve found that it’s actually more enjoyable and less stressful to slow it down a few notches… You have more time to appreciate the beauty of the world ~ And it’s good for blood pressure too…

Just make sure it’s a safe time ~ and you can ride more lightly on the gas pedal more often…

*Open, Unofficial Green poetry slamfest*

************************************

I read that Robert Redford had this cool idea, and I thought it would be fun to have an unofficial, relaxed version here.

So, green it up… green it good…
